The "Old Dad" is the first design 2-coil 3 wire version in the history of China Doll engine magneto coils.

The White wire goes to a separate coil for the purpose of running a 6V headlight that most folks don't ever use so they just cut it off.

6 mounting hole magneto. SD mfg. brand; made years ago.

Fits all 2 stroke China bicycle engines.

Works with a SD or TZ manufactured Rotors.

Most of these magneto coils are coded with the manufacturing date.
